This tutorial will guide you through the simple setup instruction for Enigma 2.
Putty Setup Instructions:
1. Go to your ‘Enigma 2’ and get your ‘IP address’
(‘Settings/Setup/System/Network/Device Setup/Adapter Settings’ here you see your ‘IP address’)
4. Go to your PC and download ‘Putty’.
5. Open ‘Putty’.
6. Add your ‘IP address’ of your ‘Enigma 2’ (IP from step 1.).
7. Enter ‘Port 23’.
8. For connection type ‘TelenetClick’.
9. Click ‘Open’.
10. Your default login and password are root.
11. Copy your M3U link in following format (Check your activation e-mail):
‘wget -O /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh “http://ipthost.com:25461/get.php?username=XXXXXX&password=XXXXXX&type=enigma216_script&output=ts” && chmod 777 /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh && /etc/enigma2/iptv.sh’
12. use ‘RIGHT CLICK MOUSE BUTTON’ after you enter your line press ‘ENTER’.
13. Type ‘reboot’ and wait for your device to restart.
14. You can now start watching.
Troubleshooting Enigma 2
If you have any problems viewing the Channels please follow this recommended fix:
Restart your Enigma 2 and Wi-Fi Router.
